1) Offering low-interest financing on energy efficient equipment
including furnaces, boilers & windows. www.berkshiregas.com for more info.

2) Partnering with retailers, manufacturers, & remodelers/contractors to reach consumers. Training, coop advertising, cash incentives, special promos, field & marketing support & education are the basis for all of the outreach programs. www.nyserda.org for more info.

3)The State of Connecticut has passed a new law which excludes purchases of certain residential weatherization products from sales tax.

Only certain products are eligible for the tax exclusion. The products must be designed and marketed for residential use. Items designed or marketed for commercial use are not eligible for the exclusion. Residential weatherization products, as defined by the State of Connecticut, sold by Harvey Industries are included in the following categories:

-- Caulking for windows and doors marketed to prevent drafts
-- Window and door weather stripping, including door sweeps
-- Insulation for walls and attics
-- Windows and doors meeting the federal Energy Star® certification rating

Visit this link for more detailed information about the program.

Note: In order for homeowners to receive any rebates, NFRC labels must remain on the windows until a gas/utility company representative inspects the windows. All programs are subject to change without notice. Please see each company's website for specific information.
