Education / Experience / Requirements:
To be considered, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or commensurate experience with 5-8 yrs of experience. Must be PC literate as well as have AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills and window and door design experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Position Description:
Shall assist the Product Development Manager and report to the Design Engineering Manager. Responsibilites include: Performs complicated and advanced mechanical engineering work of major complexity, under general supervision, requiring a high degree of technical competence. Duties include full technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects within the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. Conceives and plans projects involving exploration of product and/or process problems. Definition and selection of new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products or processes. Conducts independent technical investigations involving the application of a wide variety of mechanical engineering principles in the origination of modification of material, component of process specifications and requirements.
